The Sexual Assault Victims' Advocacy Service, or SAVAS, is the Sexual Assault/Abuse Crisis Center for Prince William County, and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, Virginia. SAVAS serves both the English- and Spanish-speaking communities and all services are free of charge to survivors and their families. SAVAS is dedicated to survivors of sexual assault and to ending sexual assault in our community. We provide a safe environment in order to encourage survivors of rape and sexual abuse to come forward. We are pledged to return to these survivors the power of making their own decisions and helping them contribute to their own recovery. To this end, SAVAS advocates for survivors and their loved ones and works to educate the community on childhood sexual abuse and rape. SAVAS is a nonprofit organization that is funded through a variety of sources, including the State of Virginia, federal government, United Way/Combined Federal Campaign (Organization #8344), SAVAS fundraisers, and contributions from local organizations and individuals. |
